Our History
Father André started his first “terreiro” in 2009 in the garage of his mother's house, with few mediums and no assistance. In a short time, some people started to attend and the house grew.
Over time, the “terreiro” got bigger and work continued in a hangar. With his patience, wisdom and spirituality, Father André managed to help many people who needed spiritual help, leading many to follow the religion, changing concepts of faith and helping people in the search for intimate reform, always within the Umbanda concept.
After a few years, he was allowed by the spiritual plane to follow his mission in another country, leaving his “terreiro” opened with another leader but with his guidance and support, whenever necessary. In this new country that he chose to do charity work, he began the spiritual works in his home and once again with few mediums and assistance. The growth took place organically, and with the support of his family, friends and children of faith, he opened again his “terreiro” with the name First Umbanda Temple in Orlando.

Today, Father André continues on his journey to teach the fundamentals of Umbanda, and to emotionally and spiritually support everyone who seeks his “terreiro”.
